世界羽壇長青神話　周天成最高齡奪冠唯一單打

世界羽球「長青樹」周天成，今天以36.5歲成為BWF（Badminton World Federation，世界羽球聯合會）世界巡迴超級1000系列等級最年長冠軍，改寫由印尼選手亨德拉（Hendra Setiawan）在2019年摘下全英公開賽冠軍的34.5歲。

1990年1月8日出生的周天成，今天是他36歲6個月又18天，今天他擊敗的對手法國波波夫（Christo Popov）為24歲，周天成獲勝後，也成為頂級賽事中，唯一單打球員能夠以此高齡奪冠。

依照專業羽球帳號《Statminton》統計，超級1000大賽奪冠選手中，前10年長的球員中，周天成是唯一的單打球員，其中第10名奪冠球員，比周天成小了近5歲。

社群平台《X》網友Dokter Gooners讚嘆超齡神蹟發文恭喜小天締造的成就，並且預言還會再戰2028年奧運：「他的表現真的就像26-30歲巔峰羽毛球選手年齡。特別的是他『僅僅』由一位物理治療師陪同，而不是技術教練，更不用說總教練了，因為畢竟是個人單打選手，資金不像國家隊選手那麼充裕…」

Dokter Gooners預言，周天成如果不出意外的話，還有機會在2028年洛杉磯奧運露面，期待周天成在新的羽球時代依舊能繼續保持鋒芒。
